This coming Saturday morning's 10am class will be my last Zoom yoga class for the foreseeable future, as I move my classes back to Salt Water Studios from next week.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has joined me and Danny on the mat, from the comfort and safety of your own home, over the past 4 or 5 months.
When lockdown came into effect, the yoga 'industry' (alongside many other industries) got tipped on its head. I was very worried when I had to close and wondered, especially being 4 months pregnant at the time, if I'd be able to create a valuable online offering and frankly, if there was a future for my classes at all.
Yoga teachers tend to teach because they love connecting with people, helping people feel good in their mind and bodies and working with the energy of a room. So moving online was quite the learning curve, and I'm sure for many students too, some of whom had maybe never practiced at home before.
Some of you joined once or twice when you could, some turned up every week, but I'm just so pleased to have been able to provide a consistent space for you to drop by and enjoy some 'you' time if and when you needed it. Thank you for trusting me to take good care of you during this time, even from afar. And a huge thanks to Danny of course for demonstrating for us all!
I'll be back in the studio next week on Wednesday 29th July at 7pm and Saturday 1st August at 10:30am for my final two classes before maternity leave, and would love to see you there. Click here to book.
Some wonderful cover teachers will then be taking over until November, and I hope you'll give their classes a go. I'll be posting full details about them next week here on the blog!
